CX-919ii Android Mini PCThe CX-919ii is a new quad-core Rockchip RK3188 based Android Mini PC that is now available on AliExpress. The original CX-919 is also an RK3188 based model and it is one of the more popular versions of the quad-core mini PCs. Fans of the CX-919 like it for its stable firmware and good WiFi connectivity.

The CX-919ii looks more like a dual-antenna version of the NC19A. It has the same white and transparent green design but with two WiFi antennas instead of just one on the original NC19A. With these China manufactured devices, we are never sure if the CX-919ii is designed or manufactured by the same people who made the CX-919.

The CX-919ii features the same Rockchip RK3188 quad-core Cortex-A9 SoC and bundled with the same 2 GB of DDR3 RAM plus 8 GB storage. There are 2 micro USB ports, one for power and the other is an OTG port. There is an additional 3rd USB host port as well. What seems to be new is the addition of a built-in microphone and the OS has now been upgraded to Android 4.2.2, the latest version of Jellybean.

WiFi 2.4 GHz and Bluetooth 3.0 is included as well but from the vendor listing, it seems that there is an option to upgrade it to WiFi 2.4/5 GHz and Bluetooth 4.0 at an upgrade cost of $3.50. At this price, the upgrade is definitely worth it and this would make the CX-919ii one of the better Android mini PCs hardware wise.
