Looxcie LX2 Wearable Video CameraThe Looxcie LX2 is a wearable hands free video camera that is designed to work with either an Android or iOS smartphone. It connects to the smartphone via Bluetooth and uses the phone’s internet connectivity for sharing videos.

You can wear the Looxcie like a Bluetooth headset using the included earloop and earbud or mount it using one of the many mounting accessories available separately.

You can either share short clips and upload them on the go to your favorite share sites like YouTube, Facebook and Twitter or you can create live broadcasts of special events and share them with your friends and family in real time.

The Looxcie LX2 has a looping video mode that captures video continuously in a video buffer. If you happen to have a special moment that you would like to save or share, just a click of a button is all it takes to have the Looxcie create a clip of your last 30 seconds of recorded video and have it uploaded to your favorite share.

A very useful feature of the camera-smartphone integration is to use the phone as a viewfinder to see what the camera sees. Since the camera is usually worn around your head, the viewfinder is helpful in adjusting the camera mounting so that you get the best positioning possible.

You can also preview the clips on your phone or transfer the clips from the camera over to your phone to free up storage space on the camera. The Looxcie apps can be downloaded for free from either the Apple Apps Store or the Google Play Store.

The Looxcie LX2 records up to 480p resolution at either 15 or 30 fps. The recording time and battery life depends on the recording mode used.
